MMP’s StateMentoring Resource Center promotes the expansion
of youth mentoring on the shore through its Eastern Shore
satellite office.With the goal of expanding quality mentoring
programs and relationships, this office coordinates and
delivers a wide range of activities, training sessions,
technical assistance, and program networking. If you’re
interested in volunteering to be a mentor, starting a mentoring
program or enhancing an existing one, contact Robin

EASTERN SHORE
MENTORING ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Eastern Shore Mentoring Advisory Council provides leadership, energy and resources to develop and support high quality, sustainable youth mentoring programs on the Eastern Shore, so that area youth can reach their fullest potential.
The ESMAC will work cooperatively with Maryland Mentoring Partnership to create partnerships across the Eastern Shore to leverage, and to share information and resources. Members must be:
- Knowledgeable about MMP’s goals and objectives;
- Passionate about young people and committed to helping them succeed;
- Collectively representative of the diversity in our community;
- Willing to serve and participate actively on at least one committee;
- Available for at least four (4) Council meetings per year (including one Retreat);
- Recognized by peers as leaders with knowledge and influence;
- Willing to access organizational and personal networks that have resources to advance mentoring efforts in the area;
- Able and willing to solicit volunteer, financial and in-kind support.
